Torucon is an annual festival for all kinds of nerdy culture, from sci-fi and fantasy to LARP and cosplay, board games, gaming and asian pop culture, based in Trondheim, Norway.
The festival takes place at Clarion Hotel & Congress, and is arranged entirely by volunteers.
We offer exciting panels and presentations, competitions, quiz and tournaments, as well as the opportunity to showcase your creativity, whether you create costumes or props, jewelry or wands. At Torucon you can find fantastic guests, magnificent stage performances and exciting stands to shop from.
In addition to our flagship event in August, we also host smaller events, such as the Halloween event Toruween, as well as the yuletide mini-con ToruJôl. We also help adding a splash of colour to the city when we participate in various other events throughout the year.
Torucon is the place for everyone who holds a fascination for nerdy culture, whether you love Kpop, super heroes or Magic The Gathering, and our visitors range all ages of the spectrum, both in costume and not.
Torucon is a safe and including event. Alcohol and other stimulants are not allowed.
